Candice Dogans is an independently licensed therapist who works with adults, ranging from college students to more seasoned adults. Candice helps her clients develop self awareness and insight into the nature of their problems, in order to increase life satisfaction, connection to others, and accomplish their goals.

 

She holds a Master of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Christian Theological Seminary and completed a dual bachelors degree at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Candice is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in both the state of Arizona and Indiana, where she has practiced since 2012.

Danielle Young, MS, LMSW

Licensed Contract Therapist

Danielle Young has been working in the social work field for the past 12 years with a focus on at-risk youth, people with special needs, substance abuse, family reunification, and mental health counseling. Danielle likes to implement evidence based practices with a strength based approach when working with clients. Danielle holds a Bachelors degree in Psychology, a Master in Social Work and is licensed with the Arizona State board as a Licensed Master Social Worker. 

In her spare time Danielle co-runs an animal rescue in which she cares for abandoned and abused dogs, cats and domestic rats. She is proudly from Oregon, but enjoys the Arizona sunshine, and has a new found passion for Zumba!

Matthew Rosenkilde, MS, LAC, BHP

Matthew started his career in mental health counseling in 2014 in addition to studying personal training, nutrition, and strength & conditioning.  Along with general mental health experience, Matthew has had professional involvement working with children and youth, crisis interventions, behavioral health leadership and those struggling with anxiety, depression, mental illness, homelessness, and eating disorders.

 

Matthew is a graduate of Grand Canyon University, where he earned his Masters Degree in Professional Counseling so he could deepen his ability to help others help themselves. Matthew uses the theoretical orientation of humanistic-existentialism as the center to his approach to quality clinical care. The fundamental elements of this approach are meaning, purpose and poses two basic questions, “How is one presently living?” and “How is one willing to live?” This orientation is central to Torches approach to maximum health and wellness.

Vanessa McCullough is a marriage and family therapist. Vanessa holds a Bachelors of Science degree from Indiana State University in Psychology and a Master of Art from Christian Theological Seminary in Marriage and Family Therapy. Vanessa has worked with individuals, adolescents and families for the past 10 years. She utilizes a collaborative lens with clients to help them reach their goals as well as find their internal happiness. Vanessa strives for her and the client to build an alliance in order to bridge the gap from past issues and current behaviors to help them understand how those issues are still causing them problems.

Chelsea Myers is a Licensed Associate Counselor in the state of Arizona. Chelsea holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Family and Human Development and a Masters of Counseling degree from Arizona State University. Chelsea began her career In mental health counseling in 2017 following graduation. Chelsea has counseling experience with children, families and adults. Through this experience, Chelsea is able to offer a unique perspective that may support the need to explore previous behaviors, social constructs, and/or emotional intelligence steaming from childhood experiences/traumas, to encourage clients to become the best versions of themselves.  

 

Chelsea utilizes a client-centered approach to therapy that offers eclectic treatment modalities in response to what modality would best benefit the client at that moment. Most often, Chelsea utilizes CBT interventions to challenge (and hopefully) change cognitive distortions and behaviors, while always working towards improving emotional regulation and developing personal coping strategies that aim towards solving the presenting concern/behavior.

Julienne is a licensed therapist who works with individuals, couples and families.  She has a firm belief that what we need in order to heal is already inside us, and considers it a tremendous privilege to bear witness to the journey of healing.  As such, she takes an eclectic approach primarily utilizing person-centered and cognitive therapies.  Julienne helps to explore how past experiences can shape and impact current challenges, using a trauma-informed, whole-person perspective.
